About ConvertKettle

ConvertKettle is a collection of free online tools for everyday file jobs: converting iPhone photos, shrinking images to fit an upload limit, resizing pictures for social media and turning photos into PDFs.

Why we built it

Most free converters ask you to upload your files to their servers. That's slow, and it means handing your personal photos, IDs and documents to a company you know nothing about. We thought there was a better way.

How it works

Modern web browsers are powerful enough to process images and PDFs on their own. Every ConvertKettle tool runs entirely inside your browser using JavaScript. When you choose a file, it's opened and processed on your own device, and the result is saved straight back to it. Your files are never sent to us or anyone else.

You can check this yourself: once a tool page has loaded, you can switch off your internet connection and most tools keep working.

Free for everyone

All tools are free to use with no account, watermark or daily limit. We cover our running costs with a small number of ads, which never have access to your files.
