This policy explains what information is collected when you use convertkettle.com ("ConvertKettle", "we", "us") and how it is used.

Your files

All ConvertKettle tools process files entirely inside your web browser. The files you choose – photos, images, PDFs or anything else – are never uploaded to our servers or to anyone else. We cannot see, store or share them. Converted files are created on your device and saved directly to it.

Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, when you visit ConvertKettle some technical information is sent to the services that deliver the site:

• Hosting. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• Code libraries. Some tools load open-source code (for example the HEIC decoder and PDF library) from the jsDelivr content delivery network, which receives your IP address and browser details when the code is downloaded. Only the code is downloaded – your files are not sent.

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email address or other personal details unless you choose to email us.

Cookies and advertising

ConvertKettle is free because it shows ads served by Google AdSense.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
